Panzhihua in Sichuan province, lies alongside the Jinsha river. Its airlink to the rest of China is the Panzhihua Bao'angong Airport which was reopened in 2013, after it underwent repairs following a landslide. This airport is 25 kms southeast of city center and takes 40 minutes by car and an hour by public bus.
