Ding Ling Ming Tomb

Beijing, China

Just 45Kms north of downtown Beijing is the impressive Ding Ling Ming Tomb. Here, the Ming Dynasty's Emperor Wanli and his two Empresses are buried. Ding Ling is the only tomb from the Ming Dynasty that has been opened. After the excavation, more than 3,000 artifacts were discovered in the underground palace. This underground palace is located 27 meters below the surface of the ground and has five large halls. The Tomb is one of the must-see attractions in China, along with the Chang Ling Tomb and the Sacred Way, especially for those who are interested in ancient Chinese history.
