Wangjiang Tower Park and Bamboo Garden

Chengdu, China

Xue Tao was a popular and respected Chinese poetess during the Tang Dynasty, who is known to have penned more than 500 poems. The Wangjiang Tower Park with a Bamboo Garden were established in her honor. It is located on the banks of the Jinjiang River, Chengdu, China. She loved bamboo, so more than 150 species from different parts of the world were planted here and are still thriving. The attraction has beautiful Sichuan-style memorial buildings, specially landscaped gardens, well-designed pavilions, and of course, countless number of bamboos. The sheer beauty of this attraction is a fitting memorial for a renowned poetess who touched the hearts of the Chinese people with her words.
