The Solitary Beauty Peak near Guilin, China is a steep mountain peak that provides the best vantage point to see all the other mountains and scenic areas around Guilin. Although connected with the other mountains via ridges, it looks as if it is separated from the rest, hence its name. From the Peak you can see other tourist attractions like the Three Guests Temple, Xuanwu Pavilion, Three Gods Memorial Hall, Guanyin Hall, etc. The peak is so beautiful, that it has been described by the famous Song Dynasty poet Yan Yanyuan as that having an unmatched beauty. An inscription of the poet’s words carved in stone can be seen on the eastern slope.
