Huqingyu Tang Chinese Medicine Museum
Considered the king of traditional Chinese medicine in the Yangtze River area, Hu Xueyan had had established a pharmacy named Huqingyu Tang in Hangzhou, China in 1874. At the location today is the Huqingyu Tang Chinese Medicine Museum. It consists of five sections – the Exhibition Hall, the Chinese Health Care Clinic, the Medicine Preparation Hall, the Restaurant of Medicinal Diet, and the Sales Department. The displays show the development of traditional Chinese medicine over the centuries, the method of dispensing medicines, medicinal diets and health supplements, and other traditional Chinese healthcare methods. You can purchase freshly dispensed medicines, books, and literature at the Museum.
