Lotus Flower Peak

At an elevation of 1,864 meters, the Lotus Flower Peak is the highest one on Mount Huangshan. It is surrounded by smaller hills and forms a lotus-like shape from where it gets its name. The Moon Pool situated in the center of the lotus-shape is one of the most divine sights in the world. The view is superlative from the top from where you can see the Celestial Capital Peak, the Jade Screen Peak, and the Bright Summit Peak, along with the valleys below. As you climb towards the peak you will find many locks placed along the way by previous visitors. The locks have names engraved on them. Locals believe that these locks sustain the love and luck in the lives of the people who place them there.
