Roushen Temple

Jiuhua Shan, China

The Roushen Temple is situated on Mount Jiuhua which is considered one of the four sacred mountain peaks of China. Surrounded by protected 120 square kilometers of prime forest land, the temple also has a vista of pristine greenery, fresh air, and a feeling that it is a true abode of the Gods. The most prominent feature of this temple is the Roushenbaodian which is also called the Hall of the Treasured Body of Dizang. The deity Dizang was in charge of redeeming the dead from hell with the help of His ten judges. The statues can be seen in the temple complex.
