Referred to as the “Niagara of the East”, the Nuorilang Waterfall is located in the Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area, Sichuan Province, China. It is 270 meters wide with a tremendous drop of 2,365 meters and is considered the largest one in the region. The Waterfall has been a popular tourist spot for centuries. Today, there is a convenient viewing platform on the opposite side from where you can get the best sighting and photographs of the cascades. In the summer it is at full spate and comes down sounding like a thousand galloping horses. In the winter, the falls freeze up and look like a beautiful white curtain of ice.
