Primeval Forest

The Jianyuan Primeval Forest is located at a height of 3,000 meters above sea level in the Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area, Sichuan Province, China. This is a protected area with lush virgin forests, bamboo forests, lakes, waterfalls, flowering undergrowth, etc. The forest is located on the 500-meters tall Jianyuan Mountain peak and is a popular area for hiking, trekking, and climbing. As you climb up the plank road, you will get a fantastic glimpse of the Jianyuan Suspension Spring, Arrow Bamboo Lake, Grass Lake, colorful forests, cascading waterfalls, snow-capped mountain peaks, and migratory birds. Hopefully, you will get a glimpse of the giant pandas and snub-nosed monkeys too!
