The Yarkand Mausoleum (Golden Graveyard) in the Xinjiang province of China is a tomb built in the honor of Ammanisahan Khan, a Uighur queen who ruled in the 16th century. Other members of the Yarkand Uighur royal family are also buried here. She was also admired for her beautiful poetry. The tomb is an awesome sight because it is surrounded by a beautifully designed cemetery complex which includes a tomb for the sultan of Yarkand. The tomb is beautifully decorated with Arabic inscriptions and it is surrounded by well-designed landscaped gardens which give the place a serene look.
