You can find over 50 nationalities in China and the Yunnan Nationalities Village is a combination of the ethnic culture of 25 of them, including Taim Bai, Yi, Miao, Hui, etc. If you are looking for a place to get to know local customs, head south of Kunming to the northeast of Dianchi Lake. Here, you can visit several villages built in accordance with cultures of various ethnic groups.
The entire area spread to 89 hectares and you can find different architectural structures, fountains, squares, and dancing halls. You can also visit the Asian Elephant Show or take your kids to the theme park Dinosaur Island.
