Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort’s best facility is the famous Ningbo Youngor Zoo. The number of animals will soon reach 10,000! More than 200 different species live in the Zoo. The variety of species includes both domestic, rare ones, as well as world-wide spread, well-known animals. Peculiarity of the Ningbo Youngor Zoo is creative and functional use of water. Visitors can sit in a boat and look at the animals while sailing. There is also an interesting cave within the Zoo. Theme of the cave relies on the dinosaur era and natural phenomena, such as the ice age and polar nights.
