Considered a must-see tourist attraction, the North Pagoda (Bei Ta) is an old nine-storied structure made of brick and wood. It is an octagonal Buddhist pagoda that is 76M tall and is the highest pagoda in Suzhou, China. Although, to reach the top people have to climb too many steep steps, it is a popular spot for visitors because it gives a splendid panoramic view of the city. Unlike other ancient pagoda, the Bei Ta has the perfect blend of old Ming Dynasty culture with modern amenities, making it a frequently visited place.
