Mount Everest (Qomolangma)

Located on the China-Nepal border, Mount Everest (Qomolangma) is the highest peak in the world. It is the dream of every serious mountaineer to climb the Everest at least once in their life. But even the trek up to the Everest Base Camp is not an easy one. The Base Camp is at 5,200 meters above sea level and the summit is still a 19Kms climb in harsh terrain and weather conditions. At the Base Camp, there are small hotels, restaurants, shops, and a small post office. The region around Everest is a delight for photographers because there are 14 equally picturesque peaks, fluorescent rock formations, caves, stalagmites, stone pagodas, steles, and more.
