Having an approximate area of 3364 square meters, the Yangzhou Museum is located in the Xingcheng District, Yangzhou Province, China. The main buildings of the Museum are the Art Center, the Concert Hall, and the Yangzhou Library. What makes the structures unique is that the buildings have been constructed to blend in well the surrounding natural terrain. The Museum has 30,000 priceless relics and artworks spread over five permanent exhibition halls. Among the many treasures, the museum also has several exquisite examples of Chinese paintings, calligraphy, and block printing. In fact, the region is well-known for its ancient block-printing techniques on paper and silk materials that are followed even today.
