The Bamboo Sea

Also called the Shunan Zhuhai National Park, the Bamboo Sea (Bamboo City) is a forest of bamboos located near Yibin, Sichuan Province, China. It covers an area of 4,600 hectares spread over 27 mountains and 500 peaks. The natural beauty of this area is so profound that some scenes of the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” were shot here. Cable cars are available to explore and admire the scenic area. One of the highlights of the region is the Taoist and Buddhist Xianyu Cave Temple on the Ca’eryan Cliff. Other attractions include the Tianbao Stockaded Village, Ink Stream, Guan Yin Pavilion, Wangyou Valley, and the Colorful Waterfall.
