Henan province has a double purpose public/military use compact aviation hub located in Minggang, facilitating the locality of Xinyang (45 kms) and Zhumadian (48 kms). The aviation center was redesigned and inaugurated in October 2018. China United and China Eastern Airlines provide links to Xi’an, Qingdao, Kunming, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Beijing and Foshan. Getting to center of town of Xinyang or Zhumadian (opposite directions of each other) means a taxi ride of almost an hour.
