Every dot is a train. The map places each of the 10825 trains it can draw where its timetable says it is right now, so you can watch China's rail network breathe: the morning wave of high-speed trains out of Beijing and Shanghai, the overnight sleepers crossing the country, the lull in the small hours.
No. China's railways do not publish live train positions, so each train is placed where its timetable says it should be right now, assuming it runs today. It shows the schedule, not delays, and a few trains that only run on certain days may appear on days they do not run. All times are China Standard Time (UTC+8).
Type the train number into the search box. If you do not know it, search the station you depart from and click a train that is about to leave, or see the full list of China train routes.
The map shows trains whose first and last stations have a known location on the map. We are adding more station locations, so more trains will appear over time.
