China Metro Systems
There are already metro systems in 39 cities across Greater China, and there’s more on the way. Big cities often have between 10-20 lines, and virtually everywhere can be reached on the Metro if you want. They’re cheap (usually around 3 rmb), relatively easy to navigate for foreigners (usually with English), and are by far the most efficient way to get around. Smaller cities are also starting to build more and more metro systems – so it’s always worth checking out if you can get there by Metro first!
