Ngari Gunsa Airport is a compact, limited use airport in the Tibet Autonomous Region’s southwestern town of Shiquanhe. This civilian airport is also shared by the military. As it is built at a distance of 54 kms from central part of town, journey by car takes around and hour and 20 minutes from Highway 219. Air routes to Lhasa, Kashgar, Urumqi and Xi’an are provided to locals by Lucky Air, China Eastern and Tibet Airlines.
