Shache Airport

Shache Airport, in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, was opened in August 2017. It attends to the requirements of Yarkant county (aka Shache) residents, located 36 kms from the airport. It can be reached in an hour and 10 minutes by car. Four major destinations are served, namely Kashgar, Urumqi, Korla and Kuqa with the former three having 16 flights a week. These routes are travelled by China Express, China Southern and Tianjin Airlines.
