What could be more inviting for skiers than a slope with a vertical drop of more than 800 meters? The Beidahu Ski Area in Jilin Province, China is blessed with some of the best beginner and intermediate ski slopes in the country. This ski resort has lifts connecting to the various slopes for the convenience of visitors. The right side mountain is steeper and there is a station halfway up the mountain to access the slopes. The lifts are coordinated so that there are no long waiting lines. The pine branches and other surfaces are covered with “rime ice crystals” that make the region look like a fairyland!
