Known as Yacheng Town today, the Ancient Yazhou City was a major trade-point for fresh fruits and vegetables for all the area surrounding the Sanya City, China. This small marketplace was expanded in stages during the Yuan, Mind, Qing, and Tang dynasties over many centuries so that today it is a large city on the Hainan Islands of China. The Great Cloudy Temple built during the Tang Dynasty is a popular attraction here. Another place that is a must-see is the scenic spot of the Small and Big Cave. This place is in the shape of a huge turtle that seems to stand on the sea! The hills nearby also have very scenic spots with tall trees and cascading streams.
