The Nanshan Temple, Sanya has many relics from the Tang Dynasty that are really worth seeing. It is the place where you can see the 3.8 meters tall Golden Jade Guanyin Statue. The statue is made from 100Kgs of silver and gold. It is also embellished with 120 carats of South African precious stones. The temple has a vast complex of 40,000 square meters. It was established on the Nanshan Mountain, China, in the 2000th anniversary year when Buddhism had come to China. Another awesome relic is the 108 meters tall copper statue of the Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South China Sea region.
