Water Curtain Cave

The Water Curtain Cave, also called Shuilian Cave Water Curtain or Shuilian Cave, is one of the most beautiful and scenic tourist attractions on Mount Huaguo, China. It came into fame ages ago when the novel Journey to the West was written. In the story, the protagonist Sun Wukong (Monkey King) was supposed to be born here. With the popularity of the novel, people visited and found that it is one of the most picturesque places in China. The cave is covered by a natural waterfall that cascades down like a curtain. Another interesting aspect of the cave is the writings of emperors from various dynasties.
