The Xiamen Metro, officially known as AMTR (Across Mass Transit Railway), is a modern rapid transit system serving the coastal city of Xiamen in Fujian Province, China. Since its inauguration in December 2017, the network has expanded to three operational lines—Lines 1, 2, and 3—covering over 98 kilometers and encompassing more than 70 stations.

Line 1 runs north-south, connecting Yannei to Zhenhai Road, and passes through key hubs like Xiamen North Railway Station and Zhongshan Park. Line 2 spans east-west from Wuyuanwan to Tianzhushan, facilitating access to both the island and mainland districts. Line 3, partially operational since June 2021, includes a notable 4-kilometer undersea tunnel and links Xiamen Railway Station to Caicuo, with extensions underway toward Xiang'an Airport.

The metro operates daily from approximately 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM, offering a reliable and efficient mode of transportation for both locals and visitors. Stations are equipped with multilingual signage, ensuring ease of navigation for international travelers. With plans to expand to a 10-line network totaling over 400 kilometers, the Xiamen Metro is poised to further enhance urban mobility and connectivity across the region.
