Book China Travel

Standing tall at 213 meters, the Fubo Shan (Wave Subduing Hill) towers over the Li River Scenic area, Guilin, China. Half the hill is standing in water and half of it is on land. It is so named because it blocks the water when the river is in spate and compels it to recede. On the eastern slope, the things you must see are the Pearl-Returning Cave, Sword Testing Rock, and the Thousand-Buddha Cave. Halfway up the hill is the artistically designed and landscaped Tingtao Pavilion (Listen to Waves Pavilion). The western slope has a viewing platform from where you can get a panoramic view of the scenic area.
