The Jade Spring Park (Black Dragon Pool) is situated in the Lijiang Ancient Town. Covering an area of 40,000 square meters, the pool is a crystal clear jade green color. In the summer and autumn seasons, the pool is decorated by bright blossoms that fall from the surrounding chestnut trees. To complement the natural beauty of the Park there are a number of splendid ancient manmade structures too. The beautiful pagoda-style Longshen Temple was built during the Qing Dynasty. Likewise, the Suocui Bridge, Hanyue Stage, and the Deyue Pavilion are also very impressive tourist attractions within the Park.
