With nearly 700,000 visitors a year, the Guangxi Museum or Anthropology Museum of Guangxi is situated on the banks of the Yong River. It has unique displays of the ethnic cultures of different dynasties and periods of time. It has almost 35,000 sets of unique collections including bronze drum, ancient ethnic dresses in brocade and embroidery, tools, handicraft, and other exhibits. It has six areas where the bronze drum collection, ethnic culture theme, Zhuang culture theme, nationalities theme, and International themed cultural collections are displayed. There is no other museum that has such a vast collection on anthropology.
