The Couple's Retreat Garden or simply called the Couple’s Garden is a picturesque area in Suzhou City, China. Spread over 2 acres of land, this UNESCO world heritage site has the most spectacular scenery with its greenery-filled mountains, ancient trees, crystal-blue water bodies, layered rockeries, flowering plants, and more. It also has 24 majestic ancient buildings, brick carvings, and 21 tablets with inscriptions. Among the various scenic sections, the Yellow Stone Rockeries are the most popular spot for young couples. Besides the beautiful scenery, tourists can also enjoy a classical Pingtan performance by local artists, which is an ancient art form consisting of storytelling and musical recital.
