According to a legend, a golden rooster (Jinji) fell out of nowhere onto a boat cruising the water of this lake and that is how it got its name. This is China’s biggest inland city lake with water spreading on over four miles. The residents call it “New Paradise on Earth” and often come to enjoy the scenery.

The sights to visit include water curtain movie and the musical fountain, the sky curtain at the Harmony Times Square, as well as the largest Ferris wheel in entire Asia. If you feel like taking a walk, make sure to choose the Lakeside Avenue that extends to more than a mile beside the lake.
