The Revolutionary History Museum was established in 1950 in the city of Yan'an, Shaanxi Province, China. The Museum boasts of having an incredible collection of relics spread over an exhibition area of 3,200 square meters. The collection includes 35,000 cultural relics, 12,000 books, and 5,500 historical photos. Other items include uniforms, weapons, graphs, paintings, sculptures, models, footballs, sewing machines, etc. pertaining to the Revolutionary period of China. The white horse used by Chairman Mao Zedong has been preserved and is a prominent exhibit at the Museum. Marxist books translated into Chinese by Stalin, Lenin, and Trotsky are also on display.
