Red Stone Gorge

The Red Stone Gorge, also called the Hongshixia Ecological Park is located near Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, China. It is famous for the cliffs that are adorned with brilliant calligraphic works. Besides this, the gorge is dotted with grottoes that have countless ancient Buddhist art forms including statues and inscriptions that date back to the Song and Yuan Dynasties. The Yuxi River meanders through the gorge adding to its natural beauty and giving it a painting-like quality.
