Jiegao Border Trade Zone

Located on the border between China and Myanmar, the Jiegao Border Trade Zone is an open city along the south coast of China. Over the past few years, the city of Jiegao has developed from a small town into a major trade route. Chinese business leaders from the prosperous provinces of Fujian and Zhejiang have been setting up trading companies here. Today, there are more than 115 companies that have developed trading relations with businesses in China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Myanmar, and Singapore. Jiegao is considered the Special Export Processing Zone with 80% of China’s export-import passing through its official trading channels.
