Qingcheng Shan

Considered the most serene place since ancient times, the Qingcheng Shan (mountain) is located near Chengdu in the Sichuan Province of China. Together with the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, the mountain is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountain is covered with dense evergreen forests. The front face of the mountain has many tourist attractions which are easy to access. Some of them are the Jianfu Palace, Shangqing Palace, and the Tianshi Celestial Cave. The rear face of the mountain is tranquil and cool. This 100 square kilometers slope is perfect for nature trails, walks, trekking, and camping especially in the summers.
