Jianmen Fortress and Shu Road

Built during the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Jianmen Fortress and Shu Road is a 450Kms long mountain pass. Also called Sword Gate Pass, it is a convenient link between the northern Ningqiang County of Shaanxi Province and the southern Chengdu City of Sichuan Province. The pass is located between steep mountain peaks and cliffs and is a very scenic area. The nearby attractions include the Memorial Hall of Jiang Wei, Red Army Conquering Jianmen Pass Memorial, Geological Museum, Guarding Bridge, Emperor Passing Cave, Golden Ox Valley, and more. At the Museum you can also see a 4D documentary about the scenic area interspersed with folklore.
