The Expo Garden is a botanical garden in Kunming, China. Also called the World Horti-Expo Garden, it has been mentioned in the Guinness world records. There are 2 million plants that belong to 2,550 varieties. Of these, nearly 112 varieties belong to the endangered list but are thriving here. The exhibits are spread over five halls – the International Hall, China Hall, Science and Technology Hall, the Grand Greenhouse Man, and the Nature Hall. But what captivates visitors are the themed gardens, namely the Bamboo Garden, Tea Garden, Vegetable & Fruit Garden, Medicinal Herb Garden, Tree Garden, and the Garden of Famous Flowers & Strange Stones.
