The Green Lake Park (Cuihu Lake Park) is located at the foothills of the Luofeng and Wuhua Mountains in Kunming. It is called the emerald of Kunming because the water, the bamboo, and the trees look green in the spring and summer seasons. The Park is divided into the Bamboo Forest Islet, the Mid-lake Islet, Goldfish Islet, Palm Garden, and the Mid-sea Pavilion. It has plenty of camphor and cedar trees, and 40-feet tall bamboos. You will also get to see numerous sub-tropical plants, flowering bushes, and Siberian migratory seagulls around the Park. There is a playground for kids and an Amusement Park in the Mid-Sea Pavilion.
