Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain

Stretching over a length of 1,500Kms, the glacial Nyenchen Tangula Mountain range is located in the center of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China. The average height of the range is 5,000-6,000 meters above sea level so the peaks are perennially covered with ice or snow. This Transhimalayan mountain range is flanked by the beautiful Damshung Grasslands in the south. In the north, the mountains face the scenic areas of the three holy lakes of Namtso, Manasarovar, and Yamdroktso. Other fascinating and scenic sites on the mountains include the basins of Nak Chu, Nujiang, and Salween Rivers. This range is meant for serious mountaineers and not amateurs.
