Qipan Shan Scenic Area

Located just 17Kms from the Shenyang City, the Qipanshan Scenic Area covers a vast area of three huge mountains and a picturesque lake. Spanning an area of 200 square kilometres, this scenic area consists of rich flora, cascading waterfalls, colourful flowers in spring, rich greenery in summer, yellow-orange shades of the autumn, and beautiful white snow in winter. The lake freezes in winter and is a popular spot for ice-skating. The Shenyang International Ice and Snow Festival is hosted here every year from December to February where visitors can take part in skiing, snow sculpting, and other winter activities.
