Zhao Mausoleum (North Tomb)

Covering a vast area of 4.5 million square meters, the Zhao Mausoleum (North Tomb), China is a very unique tourist attraction. The Mausoleum is divided into various sections like the Dismounting Horse Tablet, the Red Gate, and what is called the Square City. In the ancient times, the first two sections were used for worship, prayer, and for festivals. The floor of the Longen Hall in the Square City is made of gold ores and is the most impressive site here. The Underground Palace contains the tombs of the royals. There are more than 2000 pine trees in the pavilion that are more than 300 years old.
