One of the most enjoyable tourist attractions on the Yangtze River Cruise is the Tujia Mountain Village (San Xia Ren Jia) in Hubei Province, China. The scene that greets you is made of fantastic mountains, dense green forests, beautiful waterfalls, traditional fishing boats, and clear blue skies. A visit to the nearby Shadow Play Cave is a must. It is a karst cave with rocks in black, white, yellow, and gray colors that look like bands across the mountain face. The villagers sing, dance, and perform acrobatics for the benefit of the tourists. They even perform a mock-wedding ceremony to show the visitors the local customs and traditions.
