Xiling Gorge
Three Gorges, China
With a length of 120Kms, the Xiling Gorge is the largest among the Three Gorges of Yangtze River in Hubei Province, China. It is further divided into small Gorges called the Poshui, Bingshu Baojian, Dengying, etc. The entire region has fascinating landscapes of rugged mountain peaks, colorful karst landforms, large water bodies, grottoes and caves, thick forests, ancient temples, monuments, and pavilions. Besides, there are ethnic villages, entertainment zones for tourists, trekking walkways, bungee jumping areas, sightseeing in cable cars, and other enjoyable activities. Some of the lakes are so picturesque, that they are teeming with naturalists and photographers.
