Wild Elephant Valley

Located near Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China is the picturesque Wild Elephant Valley. Also called the Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant & Nature Reserve or Gajah Liar Valley, it lies in the middle of the Mengyang Tourism Area and has countless Indian elephants. There are treehouses from where tourists can watch the elephants in their natural habitat. The Elephant Valley is divided into two zones. One zone is called the National Elephants area because the elephants roam between Mengla and Mengyu in China. The International Elephants area is where some herds keep crossing the borders between China and Laos. The Reserve also has the Butterfly Park, Orchid Garden, Snake Park, and the Bainiao Garden.
