People's Square (Dalian)

Located in Dalian, China is the People’s Square which covers an area of 125,000 square meters. The People’s Square houses the provincial administrative buildings and the judiciary. They include the Dalian Municipal People's Government, Dalian Public Security Bureau, Dalian Municipal People’s Government Office, provincial courthouses, and other government-related buildings. These structures have either Japanese or Russian architecture. Nearly 40,000 square meters of the Square is covered with the most beautiful landscaped gardens. There are a number of fountains in the garden where a light & sound show is displayed for visitors. The Square is protected by policewomen on horseback.
