Pheonix Mountain National Park

The Phoenix Mountain National Park (Fenghuangling) is located on Fenghuang Shan or Phoenix Mountain near Dandong, Liaoning Province, China. It is well-known for its picturesque scenery and unusual landscape. As you approach the mountain you will notice large granite boulders spread all over as if they had been scattered. Interspersed with these boulders are beautiful greenery, ancient temples, monasteries, pagodas, and pavilions that add to the beauty of the surroundings. Jianyan is the highest peak at 836 meters above sea level. On top lies the Phoenix Mountain Temple and a turtle-breeding pond area which provide a fantastic panoramic view of the National Park. There is also the Dragon King Temple on the upper slopes.
