Huaxi Park

The Huaxi Park (Flower Stream Park), Guiyang, China is aptly called the "pearl-inlaid plateau". In the spring season (March to May) the Park is abound with exotic peach blossoms that look like a heavenly colored carpet. The Park has been developed into a major tourist attraction by the local government. The most scenic areas are the four hills called Phoenix, Snake, Unicorn, and Turtle Hills. They are full of greenery, mirror-like pools, streams, bamboo groves, and natural bridges. The park can be explored very comfortably in boats that ply on the river that runs through the Park. This is really a must-see place while you are in the Guiyang region.
