Hongfeng Lake (Red Maple Lake)

The Hongfeng Lake (Red Maple Lake) in Guiyang, China is also called the Hongfeng Lake Scenic Area. The maple leaves in the surrounding areas turn red during the autumn fall, from which the lake gets its name. The lake area has four zones - the North, South, and Rear lake, and the minority village area. One of the most quaint and attractive sights here is the Dong drum tower with its roofed bridge. This is a popular site because it gives a panoramic view of the lake and its picturesque surroundings. You can reach the tower by boat. The Dragon Palace and the Huangguoshu Waterfall are also beautiful attractions.
