The Central Street is one of the most unusual places in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, China. Since this cobblestoned street was originally built by the Russians more than 100 years ago, the architecture and the items available have a distinct Russian touch. With the influx of Walmart and other retail-majors arriving, this attraction is now a cosmopolitan market. Yet, the Russian influence on this Chinese street is still visible. Children can enjoy a horse or dog-sled ride along the streets. There are Russian restaurants and shops selling vodka, Russian dolls, furs, souvenirs, etc. The Siberian Tiger Park is definitely worth a visit too.
