Located at 3,000 meters above sea level near the city of Kangding, Sichuan Province, China is a picture-perfect pastoral town called Xinduqiao. It has the most spectacular grasslands that are ideal for photography. The rolling pastures are surrounded by magnificent snow-capped mountain peaks on all sides. The grasslands are dotted with clear blue streams, golden poplars, Tibetan dwellings, and flocks of cattle and sheep. The Tibetan homes are painted stark white with red doors. They look very striking against the green pastures and blue skies. The best time to visit is in the summer and autumn seasons between June and November.
